Bobtail liability, or non-trucking liability, is the plan that will cover your truck after you’ve completed a job. It is normally the only type of insurance necessary for owner-operators to purchase when they have leased themselves and their truck to a trucking company. Situations in which bobtail liability coverage is necessary include:

- Operating the vehicle for mobility purposes only
